The Cue Cover-UP

Now, KKR and Cue are taking steps to cover up Cue’s collaboration with the Zhuhai Innovation Center.

Following our September 2021 report, Cue revised its website, and when contacted by The Wire in February 2022, it removed phrases relating to the Zhuhai lab from web postings and deleted website references to public security and military applications of a new autonomous vehicle project, as documented by The Wire. Likewise, KKR took down an unrelated website which contained a government filing listing KKR’s indirect subsidiaries, including Cue and two personal companies of Cue’s CEO, after we cited the document in our December 2, 2021 report addendum.

Changes to Cue’s web postings chronicled in The Wire China article
